How does the subscription work?
It is beautifully simple! Each month, you will receive a real, tangible letter in your mailbox. Inside, you’ll find a hand-drawn map, my personal travel experience story and a few analog surprises to help you slow down and romanticize your routine. Think of it as a monthly ritual delivered straight to your door.
What month’s mail am I getting?
To make sure every letter is printed and packed with the utmost care, I always bill one month ahead. When you join, you are reserving your spot for the very next month’s collection. If you would like to receive your latter in July, the last payment should be on 20th of June, midnight.
- Join or renew in June → you’ll receive the July issue.
- Join or renew in July → you’ll receive the August issue.
When will my letter ship and arrive?
We aim to ship all letters during the last week of each month from my studio.
- Within Europe: Your mail will typically arrive within 3 to 10 business days after shipping.
- International Friends: Because I ship worldwide, international delivery usually takes between 2 to 6 weeks depending on your local postal service. The beauty of snail mail is the slow anticipation!
Do you ship to my country?
Yes! My subscription is open worldwide. I love sending happy mail to every corner of the globe, unfortunately international shipping to America has extra fee since its treated differently in France.
Do I have to sign up every month?
Not at all. Once you join, your subscription automatically renews on the same date each month. It is completely hands-off so you never have to worry about missing an issue. You can pause or cancel anytime.
Managing Your Subscription
We want your experience with our mail club to be as peaceful and stress-free as possible. You are always in complete control of your subscription, and you can make updates independently in just a few clicks.
How to Pause or Cancel Your Subscription
If you need to take a break, skip a month, or cancel your membership, you can do so at any time through your personal dashboard:
- Log In: Go to the main menu ➤Shop ➤ my account
- Access Subscriptions: Once logged in, click on the Subscriptions tab in your account menu.
- View Details: Click the View button next to the active subscription you wish to change.
- Update Status: Click Cancel to stop future renewals, or choose Suspend to temporarily pause your letters while you are away.
✧ Please Note: We bill one month ahead to carefully prepare each curation. If you cancel after your monthly renewal payment has processed, you will still receive the upcoming letter you paid for. Your subscription will simply close automatically after that final delivery, and you will never be billed again.
How do I update my shipping address or cancel my subscription?
Life changes, and that is completely okay! You can easily update your payment details, change your shipping address, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your Customer Portal right here on the shop page.
- Note: Please make sure to update any address changes before the end of the month so your next letter goes to the right place!
What happens if my letter gets lost in the mail?
Because we use traditional, untracked stamped letter mail to keep shipping free for everyone, sometimes the postal system can take its time. If your letter hasn’t arrived by the end of the shipping month (or after 6 weeks for international), please email me with a few photos at miyaelsewhere@gmail.com and we will happily make it right by sending a replacement! I usually check emails 1 to 3, depends if I am on the road.
