TRAVEL ESSENTIALS FOR WOMEN – MY TRAVEL MUST-HAVE

You just got a day off, and you found a particular destination to go to, and then it’s time to pack. Packaging is a problem for many, especially when it comes to women. Women need to wear more than pants, T-shirts, and sneakers. She can’t show up at a beautiful dinner in Paris in pants and a shirt. She must have a dress, then high-heeled shoes, a unique bag for that clothing combination, and finally makeup and a tidy hairstyle. This situation leads to a new question. How much luggage do I need if I go to a nice restaurant every night? That is why many ladies find it a tough time when it comes to packing for a trip. I love it when I travel so much that I don’t want the packing to spoil my mood.

This post is helpful for me and will be beneficial for you. After a few trips, you will learn a few things to make your packaging easier. Enjoy planning and combining the things you will bring with you to your journey. And yes, the way to not get carried away with packaging is to use a list that makes it easier for you to do it. The list helps you to separate essential things from unnecessary ones. It shortens your packing time, and you lose the feeling that you will never finish packing or that you will not bring what you need. Below you can see my travel MUST-HAVE items that I find essential for everyone. Also, you will be able to download my checking list and use it for your planning.

Never worry on the way to the airport, train station, or wherever you are going. Do not press yourself, wondering if you’ve forgotten something. You can always buy what you are missing :).

#1 TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

Always start with the most important things. These are the things without which you cannot reach your desired destination. And that is:

  1. Travel insurance
  2. First add kit
  3. Documents (passport, driving license and travel payment cards)

* I suggest not having a credit card with you but a travel card. I believe you can get it in any bank. It is easy to use, the same way you use a debit card. And if you do not have enough funds on that card, you only need Wi-Fi to transfer your money from your main account.

Other must-have travel gear essentials are:

  1. Suitcase –I prefer Travelpro Company because they have a classic look, they are innovative, and geared towards modern, practical, and intelligent design. I love Samsonite too. They have lot of choices and colors to offer.
  2. Hand luggage – You can have it or not, depending on how much stuff you have. It’s practical in case you are traveling by plane, and you can keep all important/emergency things.
  3. Every day/night body cross Bag – This is another essential travel product for the ladies! You need something small, easy to pack with enough space for your handbag essentials. I personally prefer something like a Dior bobby’s black-grained bag. It is easy to combine this bag with a classic style of dress. If you go to dinner or visit a theatre, museum, or a show, it is easily combined with a little black dress or some other color. You can wear it in a sport –elegant style too. It is so practical and beautiful at the same time.

Miya extra tip:

Safety Alarm Keychain – I don’t wear it with me, but it is a good idea to have it, especially if you have some exclusive clothes. And if you are traveling. Especially if traveling alone, it lets out a loud sound with just a push of a button and will scare potential attackers instantly. You can attach it to your bag, and keys or keep them in your purse.

#2 TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

Intimae hygiene package – I believe that an intimate hygiene package is one of the essential parts of luggage for women.

Multi Pouch makeup & cosmetic bag with:

  • Sun protect daily cream, night cream, and serum for the face (traveling makes skin dry and tired). I love travel kits. It is easy to carry them, and they don’t take too much space. I have a few preferences: Elisabeth Arden and Dior.
  • Primary day make-up (foundation with mascara and lip gloss)
    • Night make-up (add a few eyeshadows and two eye pencils)
    • Cosmetic care:
      • Besides daily creams, have 2-3 pouches with face masks to recover your skin from dry air, pollution, and water
      • File for nails and some light nail polish or, what I prefer is to do gel or nail extension before my trip; that way, I don’t need to think about nails.
      • Shampoo & Conditioner in little bags. Probably you won’t need them considering that every hotel has them, but have them just in case.
      • Brush & Hair iron
  • Hair Ties / Headbands – if you have longer hair, it’s good to have small accessories such as clips and hair ties or headbands. Some products I found nice, practical, and elegant at the same time. You can check through Farfetch and get some ideas from French vogue.
  • Minipack made for ‘menstrual’ time – try to travel when you don’t have menstruation, but prepare a small emergency kit in case you do. You do not need much because you can always buy wherever you are. You can check the Hello Cup Starter Kit for ideas.
  • Detergent Packets – Small packets with detergent are perfect for washing clothes in the sink.
  • Dry shampoo – Sometimes it is not convenient to wash your hair often, especially if you are tired of touring the city, museums, and galleries. And when you have visited 5 locations in one day, you should quickly get ready and go out to dinner. Of course, there is no time to wash and comb your hair. Then the best dry shampoos are those that save you at the last minute. I love Briogeo products, so I would recommend their dry shampoo, 90 percent naturally derived.
  • Hand sanitizer or wipes

#3 TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

Shoes for every occasion

Whether you will bring an extra pair of high heels or some boots, you must have one universal pair of shoes for almost every occasion. These are shoes that should be classic in style and match a lot of combinations. It can be a sporty, traditional, or romantic combination if it is a dress or a similar item of clothing. Also, those same shoes should be as comfortable as sneakers and in a simple color.

Waterproof jacket This type of jacket can be taken in a classic style and protect you from wind and rain and still be elegant and look good. I love Macpac Women’s Chord Softshell Hooded Coat and Vintage Check jacket.

#4 TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

Electronics

We are taking many videos, and photos, using google research a lot and using the map on the phone all that drain the battery, which is why we need extra accessories such as chargers and external batteries.

Also, the memory in the phone slows down all the functions we need, and that is why you should carry an external drive. The disk is small and easy to carry, and you can keep all the photos and videos there.

Razor or epilator

It is best to do depilation before the trip, but also to have an epilation machine with you. I prefer the epilator to the razor because the effect lasts longer. Razor you need to use every day and in addition to that, it often irritates the skin.

Collapsible Water Bottle – This collapsible water bottle is great if you want to save space and be trendy. It’s one liter and can be folded in compact size when not filled. That is quite handy if you need to pass airport security.

#5 TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

Book or kindle reader

I like to bring a book. These are often pocket editions. A lot depends on the current atmosphere and my mood, which book I will choose. Sometimes I buy a book on the road. Another option is to buy a Kindle and download the text as desired.

Something to keep your energy level high – I am talking about healthy snacks that keep you awake. Try making homemade protein bars to take away. They are convenient to carry and give you energy. If you have a kid or you don’t like food on the plane – take oatmeal packets.

Clear Packing Cubes – These rectangular pouches help you stay organized. Also, save space, and if you are traveling through several countries, it keeps you from the mess. You can find it in different sizes. With the same cubes, you can protect your small carry bags from damage.

It would help if you also had a transparent bag for your liquids. Check 3pcs Lermende TSA Approved Toiletry Bag so you can take all your fluids with you in a carry bag.

  • TSA Approved
  • Clear Strong Thickness Design
  • Waterproof Secure
  • Improved Luxurious Zipper System
  • Carry-on Size & Versatile
