Museum – Great for Your Kid and You

Exploring things are beneficial for kids and adults. And some particular museums could benefit you and your kids. Museums have a positive and uplifting influence on child’s happiness. Art, science, or entertainment can stimulate and engage kids.

museums could benefit you and your kids

There is also a few research’s about the physiological mechanisms of different museum influence on the well-being of adults people too. That is why I found it very convenient to always schedule some visits to the museum. Of course, your choice can be different, depending on what country are you in and what type of museum you prefer. Kids can adapt easily.

I would like to suggest to be open for new things too. E.g. If you never liked art, by time that can change. My interest in some things changed through the years.

Shopping and Lunch on Our Way to Museum

Again, we stopped in the shopping area to buy a few things. It’s always fun when Sophie is wandering around trying to dress like an adult. I believe that all sales ladies hated us, but that is fine, Sophie did not make a big mess. She was just running around😊.

Lunch was short, we just grabbed a few sandwiches and a bit of sweet. I was excited to drink a coffee. And that was I time when I found out that coffee shops here, in Saint Nazaire, don’t have sweeteners. Maybe it is irrelevant info, but I was surprised. That makes me think about how I used to have almost everything, and take everything for granted.

A playground on Our Way to The Museum

Of course, we could not miss the playground. It is always good to have a seat while my little one is playing and running. Playgrounds play a very important role in a kid’s life. They are made in a different ways with different equipment. From spinning and swinging to an exploratory type of play.

Museum Sous-Marin Espadon

Espadon submarine is open to the public since 1987. This kind of museum fascinates me for its history, but more for its way of surviving. Can you imagine yourself living in a tiny cabin for a month, not to mention humidity, heat, and pressure under the water? I admire whoever voluntarily joined this kind of mission.

More about Sous-Marin Espadon Museum

It all started in 1957. The submarine began its military career in 1960. And next 25 years were filled with exploring the oceans and lots of different missions. The nordic cruise was the most remarkable mission, in 1964. That was the first French submarine with Marsouin that was navigated under the ice of the Arctic.

#3 Kids visit The Espadon submarine

The Espadon is the first French Navy submarine to dive under the ice in 1964. It is not just for a kid to feel the environment and atmosphere on this submarine. Personally, I felt very excited to see and try to imagine the journey of 65 men on board, under the ice.

We saw everything, engines, officer’s quarters, torpedo room, chart table, and all other areas important for each person on that submarine, including very tiny space for sleeping or eating.

#4 Kids visit the industrial area

It is a special experience where children and adults can visit 3 industrial companies.

  1. Atlantic Shipyards
  2. Huge seaport
  3. Airbus Atlantic
