I’m not saying you must be best friends with everyone in your child’s life. But I am saying that you need to be able to form a united front with the people who are essential in your child’s life. You need to be able to put your differences aside and work together for the betterment of your child.

Research what can help you in your daily routine, such as planning your time, healthy life habits, and other things that can help you build the family lifestyle you love.

  1. Live Within Your Means – Living within your means, ensuring not to spend more than what comes in each month. This might mean cutting back on certain luxuries or finding creative ways to save money on groceries or other expenses. Avoiding debt as much as possible is also essential when living on a budget since this can quickly become overwhelming if not managed properly.

Learning and Implementing Knowledge To Achieve Goals

Q & A

What are the rules you use in your daily life to keep you and your family healthy?

Healthy Family Lifestyle

Give your best to limit unhealthy food, but still enjoy the indulgence of sweets and other comfort food with your family. Eat nutritious meals with fiber, proteins, and healthy carbs and fat.

I am not a dietitian or a doctor, but when I consume at least 80% of healthy food and drinks, I feel energized and can do more things throughout the day. Please visit the website HERE for more information on weight-control foods and dietary recommendations.

Learn to Forgive

Forgiving yourself for some actions you made and asking your kids for forgiveness makes a big difference. That way, you can improve your health and show and teach your children what benefits they can get when they avoid harshness.

Work on The Strength

Starting from simple things like developing a daily routine such as brushing your teeth, taking care of your skin, and eating healthy, you can implement not typical habits that can make your family healthy and strong.

Some of those habits could be a hot and cold shower, exercise, or even using supplements if needed. As I mentioned above, you can learn and educate yourself every day. That way, choose the best option for you and your family.

Communication

Communication starts from the beginning when your child is born. Also, communication is changing through the years. Kids are getting better at expressing their feelings and sharing their thoughts.

  • For good communication, you need to listen first, not just talk and explain things from your point of view.
  • Always pay attention to kids’ feelings, particularly when they feel upset. By resolving their problem, you are changing their emotions and making them feel better. They will feel secure and always get back to you when they are in trouble.

Screen Time

Screen time cause problem not just for your kids but for you too. Have you found yourself scrolling and watching too many videos and pictures and feeling you cannot just stop doing it? And then, you realize you spent at least 2 hours doing nothing.

So much scrolling on the phone or watching TV can lead you and your kids to anxiety, stress, and lack of concentration.

While you must use technology to learn or be informed, you can still limit consumption. I do not like to say 100% to all indulgence in my family and my life, but I always use the rules like the 10%/90% rule, or 80%/20% rule, depends what we are talking about. The higher number always shows positive action, while the lower number refers to less positive action.

Think about ways that suit you and your daily routine, don’t forbid everything 100%, and balance your screen time.

Find The Way To Build a Healthy Family Lifestyle

What five things make up a healthy family?

I found a few things that I believe keep my family healthy mentally and physically.

#1 Different communication and interaction

Different communication and interaction with my family make us happy and healthy. Sharing information, feelings, or daily events and spending time together is precious time that we cannot replace with anything else.

Choose what you want to do together, be creative, and relax. From weekend outdoor picking to art, science, or other workshops or classes. For more ideas, find them HERE. If you don’t have financial support for classes or any other activity, you can always do a home cooking class or make a Home Mocktail Party.

#2 Being active

Being active contributes to family health and strength. Activity can be a sport you are doing together (e.g., a bicycle ride), hiking in nature, going to the museum, doing an art class, or anything else that inspires you all.

It would be best to find something all family members like to do.

#3 Eating healthy

Eating healthy makes your mind and body powerful and healthy. Nutrients you need for growth and repair help you prevent some illnesses, such as some cancers.

#4 Setting clear expectations and limits

You can set your boundaries by giving a choice. If you offer two alternatives to a kid, which one of them is the one you are sure he is not going to choose, that way you are positively setting some limits. That way, a kid will think he has options and can decide for his benefit.

This way, I tried it personally, and it works. Give it a try, and it makes things easier in creating boundaries.

Also, it would help if you were consistent while providing alternative options. Always go towards a positive outcome. And finally, be clear with your limits.

Setting Clear Expectations And Limits

#5 Love & Values

Show your love in any way. It can be just a hug. Be there for your kids whatever happens, even if it’s their fault. But be sure they understand that you love them and that what they did was not good.

Showing and explaining to your kids the values and how they can contribute to their life in the future is significant. Of course, it is hard to explain to 3 years old toddlers, but the older they get, the more they will understand.

They will recognize work ethic in the school, honesty through the friend relationship, etc.
